Welcome to the Urantia Unity forum where Urantia Book Readers come together in unity to share the 5th Epochal Revelation on the web! This is an all inclusive site and one that is truly self governed. Everyone is asked to please consider the teachings of Jesus as we interact with one another. There will be no warnings or suspensions. Together we can make this a spiritually fragrant site as we uplift and encourage one another. Please also keep in mind that we are all human beings on a path going inward and upward, sometimes slipping and falling, but never down and out as long as there is someone there reaching out for us!

The Coalition for Dwarf Advocacy (CoDA): The Coalition for Dwarf Advocacy (CoDA) was formed in late 2006 to:

*Advocate for the full rights and benefits of individuals with short stature (dwarfs), and their families within the public and private sectors of society;

*Focus its advocacy efforts to advance the rights and benefits of individuals with short stature (dwarfs), in the areas of medicine, vocation, education, adoption, and public accommodation; and

*Work with and assist other nonprofit organizations for the betterment of the lives of individuals with short stature (dwarfs) and to increase public awareness of the needs and abilities of such individuals.

People of extreme short stature, medically known as dwarfs (also commonly called “little people”), face a myriad of challenges in society today. Some of the major issues include those dealing with physical and program accessibility, education and health care needs, and discrimination in employment.

It is well known within the disability community and among affected individuals that a great deal of work needs to be done to ensure that dwarfs have equal opportunity and acceptance in all aspects of society.

While some of these needs, to varying degrees, are addressed by some of the existing non-profit organizations and government agencies, a great deal of work still needs to be done.

To address this need, many leaders in the area of dwarfism suggested the formation of an action-oriented organization that could focus on the critically unserved or under-served needs of dwarfs in the U.S.

UBRON: The main purposes of UBRON are to help Urantia Book readers from around the world create a dynamic network of reader/believers, share their insights and questions about spreading the teachings of the Fifth Epochal Revelation to the world, and be an example of how individuals and a group can live these teachings in our personal lives. Ultimately, UBRON has the potential to become the backbone software system for all Urantia Book related organizations to network and communicate with members, develop programs and projects, and meet the ever-growing needs of our international community. While these are just dreams today, this goal of unity is possible through UBRON.

And, of greatest importance, UBRON serves to help spread the "benign virus of love" with the goal of fostering the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man on Urantia.

The Urantia Foundation: History of Urantia Foundation...

Urantia Foundation was established in 1950 to be the custodian of the inviolate text of The Urantia Book and to ensure that the book's teachings are spread, with the help of readers and fraternal organizations, to all people. Its ultimate mission is to increase and enhance the comfort, happiness, and well being of man, as an individual and as a member of society, through the fostering of a religion, a philosophy, and a cosmology which is in line with man's current intellectual and cultural development.

Urantia Foundation is a non-profit, educational foundation that operates under a Declaration of Trust. It has been printing the book in English since 1955, and in recent years has been translating the book into many other languages of the world.

The home of Urantia Foundation, 533 Diversey Parkway, Chicago, Illinois, was built in 1905. Prior to publication of The Urantia Book, the building was used for regular meetings of early readers of the transcripts. The entire estate was bequeathed to the Urantia Foundation in 1969. Today it consists of offices, a basement for storage and shipping operations, a 'Forum room' for meetings and study groups, and two residential apartments.
